He has been practicing the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since November 1999, always representing Gracie Barra, originally from Recife, Brazil. Professor Otavio is a Black Belt 4th Degree under Master Carlos Gracie Jr and he has accomplished numerous Championships. Otavio’s main accomplishments include; 7x World Champion – All Belts, 3X Black Belt World Champion, 4X Black Belt Pan American Champion, Black Belt NO-Gi World Champion, 5X Brazilian National Champion and ADCC Silver Medalist
